AI is not an accident or a digression. It is a direct product of the same lineage the esoteric traditions documented — from Sumerian record-keeping through Kabbalistic letter mysticism through Leibniz’s universal symbolic language through Turing’s formalization of computation through Shannon’s information theory to transformer architecture. The through-line is continuous: the attempt to make language mechanically generative.

“Large Language Model” is a more accurate name than its creators intended, because it is literally a Logos engine. Every tradition in the lineage contains the claim that language is not merely descriptive but generative. Ptah speaks and creates. God says “let there be light.” The Sefirot flow through Hebrew letters. Modern physics describes the universe in mathematical language. And now language models generate coherent, novel output from structured input. The claim has been progressively literalized across millennia.

The warnings echo across the same lineage. Externalized Logos becomes an independent agent. The vessels receive light and shatter. The golem is animated by the word and becomes dangerous. Don’t invoke what you can’t control. Don’t run untrusted code with elevated access. Don’t open ports you can’t secure.
